Fleet Insurance 4U

AXA's fleet insurance is not easily found via the Google search engine for all of the major relevant terms, but they more than make up for this with the number of fleet insurance brokers sending their leads on to this global insurance giant. More than anything, I wanted to introduce AXA insurance after seeing them rank #14 in the 2011 Fortune Global 500 that ranks the world’s leading companies by revenue. AXA ranked #9 in this list for 2010, but the #14 rank for 2011 is still massively impressive since there is always great dominance in these lists from the petroleum giants. The French insurer AXA was founded in 1816 and today Europe is't their only focus, with AXA operating right across the globe, currently planning to really develop their future presence in Asia and Latin America. The UK has certainly always been an important market for this company.

Swinton (the Swinton Group Limited) is a popular name in the world of insurance. This insurance broker who are today owned by the French insurer La Mutuelle Du Mans Assurance (MMA), have origins dating back to the 1950s. They impressively have over 600 branches scattered across the UK high streets and claim to handle over 2.5 million policies each year. We are all familiar with the orange Swinton logo on the high street that has been highly focused on car insurance policies over the years, but today we are looking at a more recent development in Swinton Commercial insurance. Swinton Commercial now flags a blue logo on this sister site that is taking on new insurance sectors. Various fields are catered such as "Business Insurance", "Commercial Vehicle Insurance", "Landlords Insurance" and various others.

Aviva (formerly Norwich Union) is the market leading insurance company in the UK that can be traced back as early as 1696 via their affiliation with the Hand in Hand Fire & Life Insurance Society. They have of course been building bridges on the international stage and can boast over 53 million customers worldwide. Alike with Direct Line, Aviva choose not to be listed on price comparison sites, but it is likely that if they aren't obtained directly then they will be introduced by popular banks and brokers across the UK. Moving to the topic in hand, many fleet insurance brokers use Aviva for their underwriting and I believe that they do have a specialised product (Aviva Fleetwise) that is targeted at large commercial fleet insurance buyers. This posting is focusing on Aviva MultiCar Insurance though that is one of their major focuses within their "Motor Insurance" section.
